Active Learning

It aims to improve the teaching skills of academics through active learning methods. Accordingly, it is aimed to increase different teaching skills such as pedagogy, curriculum and evaluation methods and to improve the quality of learning in higher education institutions.

Learning Stations

The Learning Station model creates active learning environments for different stakeholders, from students to academics, from graduates to industry partners. The model, which was built with the efforts of ITU CEE, has modular and flexible approaches shaped for its target audience.

BEE'NOME

BEE'NOME; It is a talent management system developed by ITU MEM with the principles of crowdsourcing, co-creation and open education to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, skills and experience within the ITU ecosystem.

Support for Active Learning Project

The active learning project prepared by ITU CEE and University of Strathclyde was granted support by the British Council under the Connect4Innovation call. The two-year project will enable the development of an “active learning model” that includes students, graduates, academics and industry partners. University of Strathclyde will support the project with its experience.

Visit of University of Strathclyde

A visit was made by our Connect4Innovation project partner, the University of Strathclyde. Training of the Trainers program was designed and intensive work was carried out on the Learning Station model.

"Applied Course Design Workshop in Higher Education" event was held by Istanbul Technical University Center for Excellence in Education (ITU-CEE) in cooperation with Koç University Learning and Teaching Office (KOLT) on July 27, 2023!

Learning Station Training

The Learning Stations, an instructional model implemented by the Istanbul Technical University Center for Excellence in Education (ITU CEE) and supported by the British Council as part of the Connect4Innovation call, creates active learning environments by bringing students and academicians together, fostering diverse forms of learning experiences.
