"Applied Course Design Workshop in Higher Education " event was held by Istanbul Technical University Center for Excellence in Education (ITU-MEM) in cooperation with Koç University Learning and Teaching Office (KOLT) on July 27, 2023 !

The event was held for our young academics (Lecturer and Lecturer) at the beginning of their careers  ; It covers the topics of Teaching Principles with Effective Learning, Evaluation of Student Learning, Learning Activities and Digital Tools, Content Development and Holistic Perspective on Learning-Focused Course Design.

In this workshop, participants designed and presented an introductory level course in their fields in groups for one day, taking into account the principles of effective learning and teaching with a learning-oriented approach. In this way, at the end of the workshop, participants will be able to adapt the knowledge and skills they have acquired to their own course design processes.
